On May 30th, the first Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Creativity Competition was held in Ordos High tech Zone. Leaders such as Gao Yidong, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Secretary of Dongsheng District Committee of the High tech Zone, Zhang Pengcheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee, and He Wanzhi and Lv Yaofeng, Deputy Directors of the Management Committee, presented awards to the award-winning enterprises. Cadres, employees, and enterprise representatives from the High tech Zone watched the finals on-site, and 1.58 million people watched live video broadcasts and participated in interactions online.
The theme of this competition is "Zhihui High tech • Building a Dream of the Future". Since its launch in April, through extensive online and offline promotion and project solicitation, a total of 61 enterprises and 72 projects have signed up to participate, including 31 in the startup group and 41 in the growth group. The participating projects involve multiple fields such as high-end equipment manufacturing, energy conservation and environmental protection, biomedicine, digital economy, new energy and new materials. After multiple rounds of selection, including preliminary, semi-finals, and finals, Inner Mongolia Dongrun Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Inner Mongolia Photoenergy Technology Co., Ltd. respectively won first prizes in the startup and growth enterprise groups, four enterprises won second prizes in two groups, six enterprises won third prizes in two groups, and ten enterprises won excellent awards. Enterprises that have won the first, second, third, and excellent awards will receive research funding subsidies of 150000 yuan, 100000 yuan, 50000 yuan, and 10000 yuan, respectively. At the same time, they will receive priority support for science and technology projects, priority recommendations from venture capital institutions, priority entry of innovation platforms, innovation and entrepreneurship guidance and training, investment and financing docking services, and other supporting policies.
It will effectively promote the construction of an innovation ecosystem that gathers innovative elements, develops emerging industries, and gathers entrepreneurial talents in the high-tech zone, and provide strong vitality and momentum for the high-quality development of the high-tech zone. I hope that participating companies will continue to liberate their minds, open up their thinking, enhance their innovation capabilities, and strive to lead the trend of "double innovation" in the high-tech zone. They will form "development partners" with the high-tech zone and share new opportunities for innovative development.
